Art & Craft Programmes

We access a wide range of media to bring out the creativity in each individual

Community Volunteering

Food bank, Meals on Wheels, Cancer Society, Red Cross, Blind Foundation, Resthome visits.

Community Outings

We are always looking for what is happening in the community and have a policy, where possible, of "community based activities first".

Foundation Life Skills

Cooking ,Sewing, Literacy and Numeracy, Computers, Social skills, Grooming skills, Personal Development.

Recreation and Well-being

Wide range of Sports Activities, Swimming, Library, Ten Pin, Gardening, Tai Chi, Fishing, Multi Sensory Room.

Work experience & employment options

For those wanting to gain paid employment we will work with individuals to gain work experience and support them to gain paid work.

Transition Service available from school

We are happy to work with people in their last year of school to ensure a smooth transition to Arohanui services.

Subsidised Pick-up & drop-off service.
